2026 Patent Drafting Training as part of the 2026 Intellectual Property Center (SENTRA KI) Establishment Facilitation Program

Pasuruan – The Institute for
Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan held the
2026 Patent Drafting Training in the framework of the 2026 Intellectual
Property Center (SENTRA KI) Formation Facilitation Program, Tuesday (6/10/2026).
The activity took place at the Taman Dayu Red Mosque, Pandaan, Pasuruan.
The training presented Nugraha
Pratama Adhi, S.T., M.HP. from Ciputra University as a resource person.
Participants received materials and practices regarding the preparation of
patent documents, ranging from invention identification, novelty search, description
preparation to formulation of patent claims.
The Chairman of LPPM Yudharta
Pasuruan University said that this activity is an important part of
strengthening the management of Intellectual Property in the campus
environment.
"We hope that through this
training, lecturers and students will be able to identify research results that
have patent potential and get assistance for the submission process," he
said.
Meanwhile, the Rector of Yudharta
Pasuruan University, Dr. H. A. Kholid Murtadlo, SE., ME., emphasized the
importance of encouraging research results so that they do not stop at
publications, but can be developed into innovations that provide benefits to
society.

"We continue to encourage a
culture of research and innovation at Yudharta University of Pasuruan. Research
results that have potential need to be protected and developed so that they do
not stop as academic work, but can produce innovative products that are
beneficial to the community and have opportunities to be produced
industrially," he said.
Through this activity, LPPM UYP
hopes that the capacity of the academic community in the field of Intellectual
Property will increase and be able to support the strengthening of the IP
Center of Yudharta Pasuruan University.
