The event brought together lecturers, researchers, and academic practitioners from various faculties to enhance their competence in preparing high-quality proposals for the 2026 national competitive grant programs.

The workshop featured Prof. Dr. Adya Hermawati, SE., MM as the keynote speaker and main resource person. In her presentation, Prof. Adya emphasized the importance of systematic proposal preparation, including clarity in problem formulation, methodological coherence, and the alignment of research themes with national priorities. “A well-structured proposal is not just a requirement, but also a competitive advantage. The ability to present ideas clearly and strategically will significantly increase the chances of securing funding,” she explained.

Throughout the event, participants received comprehensive guidance on the essential components of effective proposal writing, such as developing the background, synthesizing literature reviews, designing research methods, preparing accurate budgeting, and defining expected outcomes. Prof. Adya also shared practical insights from her experience as a reviewer and academic leader, enabling participants to better understand the evaluation criteria commonly used in Kemdiktisaintek grant selection.

The interactive learning atmosphere allowed participants to engage in discussions, ask questions, and directly consult about challenges they often face in proposal preparation. Many attendees stated that the workshop provided clearer direction and increased their confidence in preparing proposals for the 2026 cycle.

The Head of the Research and Community Service Institute emphasized that this activity aims to strengthen the research culture and community engagement within the institution. “Our goal is to ensure that lecturers and researchers are truly prepared and competitive at the national level. This workshop is an important step toward producing higher-quality proposals,” said the head of LPPM.
