LPPM and Faculties Coordinate to Strengthen Strategies for 2026 Grant Proposal Development

 Pasuruan — Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan, through the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), held a Coordination Meeting with Deans and Study Programs as an initial step in preparing the “Best Practice for Proposal Writing” activity for the 2026 Research and Community Service Grants by Kemdiktisaintek, on Saturday, 15 November 2025.

The coordination activity was attended by faculty deans, heads of study programs, and representatives from LPPM. The meeting aimed to align perspectives, strengthen strategies, and ensure the readiness of lecturers to participate in the upcoming 2026 research and community service grant programs.

During the coordination meeting, LPPM presented the main agenda of the Best Practice activity, which includes improving proposal quality, enhancing understanding of the latest grant guidelines, and outlining mechanisms for lecturer assistance—from drafting to proposal finalization. The deans and study program heads also provided input related to the need for capacity building among lecturers and potential flagship research opportunities within each faculty.


 The Head of LPPM Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan stated that this coordination activity is a strategic step to increase lecturer participation and success in securing national grant funding. “Collaboration between LPPM, faculties, and study programs is the key to producing competitive and impactful proposals. We hope that this early preparation will maximize funding opportunities for our lecturers,” he said.

In addition, the meeting discussed the technical aspects of implementing the Best Practice workshop, including scheduling, speakers, and the mentoring materials to be provided. All participants agreed that improving proposal quality must be carried out continuously to produce high-value research and community service outputs.

The coordination meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of the follow-up commitments from both LPPM and the study programs, as part of their dedication to strengthening the research and community engagement ecosystem at Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan.
