Collaborative Progress: Yudharta and Wiranegara Researchers Undergo Internal Research Evaluation
Pasuruan, October 23, 2025 — The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan held an Internal Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activity for lecturers who received research grants under the Beginner Lecturer Research Program (PDP) and Regular Fundamental Research (PFR) for the 2025 Fiscal Year.
The event took place in the Room Meeting, 1st Floor of the BTI Building, Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan, featuring two experienced external reviewers:
· Dr. Wheny Khristianto, S.Sos., M.AB – Universitas Jember
· Dr. Mohammad Ahsanuddin, S.Pd., M.Pd – Universitas Negeri Malang
The main objective of this Internal Monev is to assess the progress of ongoing research projects, ensure alignment between the research plan and interim results, and provide guidance to researchers in improving their research outputs.
This year, a total of 15 researchers participated in the Monev session, consisting of 10 researchers from Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan and 5 researchers from Universitas PGRI Wiranegara Pasuruan.
From Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan, the monitored research projects included:
· Achmad Yusuf — Digital-Spirituality and Cyber-Ethics in Multicultural Islamic Education Based on the Metaverse for Moderate Gen Z in the EdTech Era (PFR)
· Aminullah — Integrating Principal-Agent Model and Disjointed Incrementalism in Village Development (PFR)
· Any Urwatul Wusko — Analysis of Artificial Intelligence Marketing in Influencing Brand Preference in Indonesia’s Fashion Industry (PFR)
· Lukman Hakim — Innovation in Using Topological Skeleton Structure Information in Deep Learning Models for Retinal Vessel Segmentation in Fundus Images (PFR)
· Moch. Lutfi — Integration of Gaussian Generative Adversarial Network and Ensemble Models for Software Defect Prediction Classification (PFR)
· Mochamad Hasyim — Development of an Android-Based Educational Game Using Reinforcement Learning to Improve Arabic Vocabulary for Madrasah Aliyah Students in Pasuruan (PFR)
· Raden Roro Sri Karuniari Nuswardhani — The Effect of Technical Efficiency on Technology Selection Among Small-Scale Rice Farmers in Pasuruan Regency (PDP)
· Saifulah — Preventive Efforts in Overcoming Online Gambling Behavior through Islamic Education Learning Using a Deep Learning Approach in Junior High Schools (PDP)
· Wenny Mamililanti — Analysis of Technology Gap Ratio and Agricultural Modernization in Reducing Inefficiency and Risk in Rice Farming on Flood-Prone Land (PFR)
· Zainul Ahwan — Pentahelix Community-Based Tourism: Strategic Communication for Cultural Preservation and the Competitive Advantage of Tengger Cultural Tourism Villages (PFR)
Meanwhile, five researchers from Universitas PGRI Wiranegara Pasuruan who were also evaluated included:
· Rizdania — Integration of Augmented Reality (AR) in Food Security Learning Based on TPACK (PDP)
· Dr. Suchaina, M.Pd — Implementation of Multimodal Learning Using Project-Based Learning in Entrepreneurship Courses to Develop Business Skills (PDP)
· Dewi Masitho Istiqomah, M.Pd — Development of Listening Teaching Materials Using Telegram Quiz Bots (PDP)
· Yulina Lailatul Maslukhah, M.Si — Development of Extruded Snacks with Cilembu Sweet Potato Grit and Trembesi Seed Grit as Alternative Ready-to-Eat Foods (PDP)
· Dr. Maya Rayungsari, M.Si — Production of Sawo Kecik Seed Flour as a New Food Source (PDP)
In his remarks, the Head of LPPM Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan stated that the Internal Monev serves as part of the university’s continuous effort to enhance the quality of research within the academic environment.
“Through this Monev activity, we aim to ensure that all research projects are progressing as planned and that the outputs generated not only have academic value but also provide tangible benefits for society,” he said.
The event was held in an interactive atmosphere, with reviewers providing constructive feedback and technical suggestions to help researchers improve their projects. Through this Internal Monev, it is expected that all researchers will complete their studies on time and produce publications and innovations with meaningful impact.
