Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan Strengthens International Publication Culture through the 2026 Advanced Scopus Mentoring Program
Pasuruan – As a follow-up to the 2026 Scopus Sharing Session, the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan organized the Advanced Scopus Scientific Article Publication Mentoring Program on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the Hallmeet BTI, Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan. This initiative reflects the university's strong commitment to enhancing the quality of lecturers' scientific publications in reputable international journals.
The advanced mentoring program was designed to provide more intensive guidance for lecturers in preparing, refining, and accelerating the publication of their scientific articles. Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to receive direct consultation on research content, scientific writing techniques in accordance with international journal standards, appropriate journal selection strategies, and the peer-review process leading to successful publication.
The program, which commenced at 8:30 a.m., was attended by lecturers from various faculties who had previously participated in the Scopus Sharing Session. Each participant brought a draft manuscript for review and received constructive feedback aimed at improving the quality of their articles and increasing their chances of acceptance in reputable international journals.
The Rector of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan stated that this mentoring program represents a strategic initiative to foster a sustainable culture of research and international publication within the university.
"Publishing in reputable international journals is not only an important indicator of a university's performance but also a tangible contribution of our lecturers to the advancement of knowledge and the solution of societal challenges. Through continuous mentoring, we hope that more scientific works produced by Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan will be successfully published in internationally recognized journals," said the Rector of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan.
Meanwhile, the Head of LPPM emphasized that the program goes beyond training by focusing on tangible outcomes in the form of publishable scientific articles.
"LPPM is committed to assisting lecturers throughout the entire publication process—from manuscript preparation and refinement to submission and publication. This mentoring program is part of our continuous effort to improve the quality of research outputs while strengthening the competitiveness of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan at both the national and international levels," stated the Head of LPPM.
Through this continuous mentoring initiative, LPPM expects to further increase lecturers' publication productivity and contribute significantly to strengthening the academic reputation of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan. The program also supports the university's commitment to improving research quality, institutional accreditation, and the achievement of higher education performance indicators focused on academic excellence and the broader impact of research.
