Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan Holds the 2026 Scopus Sharing Session to Strengthen a Culture of International Scientific Publication
Pasuruan – The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan organized the 2026 Scopus Sharing Session as part of its commitment to enhancing lecturers' capacity to produce internationally reputable scientific publications. The program was conducted in two batches on June 29, 2026, and July 1, 2026, at Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan.
The event featured two experienced speakers in international scientific publishing, Muhammad Imron R., S.Kom., M.Kom. and Mochamad Hasyim, S.Pd.I., M.Pd.I. Through experience-sharing sessions and interactive discussions, participants gained valuable insights into strategies for writing high-quality scientific articles, selecting reputable journals, preparing manuscripts in accordance with international journal standards, and successfully navigating the peer-review and publication process in Scopus-indexed journals.
The Scopus Sharing Session was attended by lecturers from various faculties at Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan. Participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm through active engagement in discussions, article consultations, and the exchange of experiences regarding the challenges and opportunities of publishing in international academic journals.
The Head of LPPM Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan stated that the program represents a strategic initiative to enhance lecturers' research productivity while strengthening the university's research culture.
"Publishing in internationally reputable journals is not only an indicator of academic performance but also a means of expanding Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan's scholarly contributions on the global stage. Through this program, we hope that more lecturers will gain the confidence to produce high-quality articles and successfully publish in Scopus-indexed journals," said the Head of LPPM.
Meanwhile, the Vice Rector III of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan, Lukman Hakim, expressed his appreciation for the successful implementation of the program as part of the university's commitment to developing high-quality human resources in research.
"The university continues to foster a productive and collaborative academic ecosystem. Through the Scopus Sharing Session, we expect our lecturers to acquire practical knowledge and renewed motivation to improve the quality of their research and international publications, thereby strengthening the reputation of Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan at both the national and global levels," said Lukman Hakim.
