Selection of Prospective Participants for the 2026 International KKN Program to Thailand and Malaysia
Pasuruan, Wednesday, April 29, 2026 — Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan held
the selection process for prospective participants of the 2026 International
Community Service Program (KKN) at the Computer Laboratory of the Nusantara
Building. This selection was intended for students who will be sent to Thailand
and Malaysia as the destination countries for the International KKN program.
The selection process was attended by 11 student applicants who had met
the administrative requirements. The participants underwent a series of tests
to assess their language skills, communication abilities, and basic computer
proficiency as preparation for community service activities abroad.
Four lecturers were involved as examiners in the selection process.
Mochamad Hasyim, S.PdI., M.PdI was responsible for testing Arabic language
skills, M. Sulhan, S.Sos., M.AB tested English language skills, Zainul Ahwan,
S.Sos., M.I.Kom assessed public speaking abilities, while Ulfah Kusnia, M.Kom
tested participants’ basic computer skills.
The Head of Community Service Division, Muh. Aniar Hari Swasono, SP, MP, stated that the selection was conducted to ensure that the chosen participants possess both academic and non-academic readiness.
“The International KKN program is not only a community service activity,
but also a means of broadening students’ global perspectives. Therefore,
participants who are selected must have good communication skills, cultural
adaptability, and adequate basic competencies,” he said.
He added that the purpose of implementing the International KKN program
in Thailand and Malaysia is to provide students with cross-border experience
while introducing Indonesian academic values and culture at the international
level.
The selection process was conducted in an orderly and smooth manner. The
results of the selection will be announced after all assessment stages have
been completed. It is hoped that the selected students will become ambassadors
of the university and make positive contributions during the 2026 International
KKN program.
