Yudharta Pasuruan Strengthens Research Reputation Through SINTA Data Update for Lecturers
Pasuruan — Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan,
through its Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), held a Data
Updating Activity on the Science and Technology Index (SINTA) on Thursday,
October 9, 2025, at the Hall Meeting BTI, 1st Floor, Universitas Yudharta
Pasuruan. The event was attended by lecturers from various study programs
across the university.
The
activity, which began at 8:00 AM and lasted until completion, aimed to ensure
that all scientific publications, research performance, and community service
activities conducted by Yudharta Pasuruan lecturers were properly integrated
and updated within the SINTA system, which is managed by the Ministry of
Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek).
In
his opening remarks, the Head of LPPM emphasized the importance of updating
SINTA data as part of efforts to enhance the performance of the university’s Tri
Dharma of Higher Education—education, research, and community service.
“This
data update is not only a form of responsibility for lecturers to maintain
their academic track record but also serves as a crucial indicator in
institutional assessments, both for accreditation and national research
performance evaluations,” he stated.
All
lecturers actively participated in verifying their SINTA profiles, updating
lists of scientific publications, citations, as well as research and community
service activities. The LPPM team provided technical assistance to ensure that
the data updating process ran smoothly and accurately.
Through
this initiative, Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan aims to strengthen its position
and contribution in the field of research and scientific publication at the
national level. The SINTA data updating activity represents a strategic step
toward realizing the university’s vision as a multicultural campus excelling in
innovation, research, and community service.
