LPPM Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan Targets 32 Intellectual Property (Patents) Ready to Be Filed in 2025

Pasuruan – The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Yudharta University of Pasuruan (UYP) through the Publication and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Division Targets 32 Intellectual Property (Patents) Ready to Be Filed in 2025. This effort began by carrying out a series of patent assistance activities that were carried out in series. This activity began with a coordination meeting with 16 study programs at UYP on Saturday, September 13, 2025, which discussed strategies to accelerate the registration of lecturers' intellectual property.

As a follow-up, LPPM will hold  a Technical Training on the Preparation of Patent Manuscripts on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The training presented Nugraha Pratama Adhi, ST., M.HP, a lecturer at Ciputra University as well as an experienced intellectual property consultant. Through this session, lecturers will be equipped with practical skills in compiling patent manuscripts that meet standards, from identifying inventions to writing claims.

Not stopping at the training, LPPM will also provide intensive assistance for lecturers until a patent manuscript is produced that is ready to be submitted to the Directorate General of Intellectual Property (DJKI). This program is part of the university's commitment to increasing the contribution of research and innovation to society through intellectual property protection.

The Head of the Publication and Intellectual Property (IP) Division of LPPM, Yudharta Pasuruan University, stated that this patent assistance is an important milestone in strengthening the research culture on campus. "We target that by 2025 there will be at least 32 lecturer intellectual property in the form of patents and simple patents that are ready to be filed. This target is not just a number, but also part of an effort to make the work of UYP lecturers more useful and legally protected," he said Mochamad Hasyim, S.PdI, M.PdI,



With this program, LPPM Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan is optimistic that it can give birth to useful innovations while improving the academic reputation of the campus at the national and international levels.
