Pasuruan — Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan participated in the 2025 Kosabangsa Program Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activity organized online by the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. The session began at 09.00 WIB and was attended by grant recipients from various universities across Indonesia, including two community service teams from UYP.

During the Monev implementation, two lecturers from Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan presented the progress and outputs of their respective programs. The two evaluated program titles were:

1.     Nuriyanto with the program “Community Empowerment for Flood Disaster Mitigation and Shallot Cultivation Using IoT Technology in Dringu Village, Probolinggo Regency.”

2.     Nurma Yuwita with the program “Synergy in Implementing the Desa Tangguh Semeru Innovation: Transformation of Food Technology and Disaster Mitigation in Lumajang Regency.”

In the presentation session, each team explained the program’s progress, the effectiveness of the community empowerment approach, and the implementation of relevant technologies in addressing issues within the target areas. The teams also showcased several interim outputs, including community capacity-building efforts, the use of IoT technology, food innovation initiatives, and applied disaster mitigation models.

The reviewing team from DPPM provided several recommendations for improvement, particularly regarding strengthening activity documentation, deepening impact analysis, and completing the required outputs according to the Kosabangsa guidelines. Reviewers also appreciated UYP’s efforts, noting that the teams successfully integrated technology-based innovation while promoting sustainable community empowerment.

Representatives from UYP stated that this Monev activity is an important moment to ensure that the programs remain on the right track and meet the quality standards set by DPPM. “Through this Monev, we received valuable insights to ensure that the programs not only finish on time but also deliver real benefits to the community,” said one of the team members.

The online Monev concluded with general instructions on the submission of progress reports and reminders regarding the deadlines for program outputs. Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan hopes that the results of this evaluation will serve as a foundation for improving the quality of future community service initiatives.
